Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead project schedules, coordinate tool deliveries, and manage personnel on multiple mechanical, fire protection, and HVAC projects.

The role involves representing the company in progress meetings and initiating change orders to keep projects on schedule. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in the fire protection field, strong knowledge of NFPA standards, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Hydra Tech/Hydra CAD.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in the fire protection industry, working in sales, estimating, project management, and/or design is required.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA and industry standards is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Experience using Hydra Tech and Hydra CAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Define project requirements and scope.
• Coordinate delivery of tools and fabrications.
• Manage personnel assigned to each project and track labor efficiency.
• Represent the company at job progress meetings and initiate change orders.
• Complete contract progress billings as required.
• Estimate remaining cost-to-complete for monthly WIP reporting.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
• Serve as main client contact for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with clients to provide customized solutions.
