Job summary

The Hiller Companies is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Service Manager and Technicians in scheduling inspections, maintenance, testing and repair work. The role focuses on coordinating field activities, communicating with customers, and ensuring proper documentation of service tasks.

As a liaison between customers and the service team, you will dispatch personnel, manage schedules, and help drive on-time, accurate service delivery across fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Coordinate daily service schedules and field technician assignments.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and updates.
• Assist in documenting service work and generating reports.

Responsibilities

• Directly coordinate and manage daily schedules and planning for field service technicians.
• Schedule, assign, and confirm inspection appointments for technicians, optimizing routes based on location and urgency.
• Communicate and resolve issues with customers and personnel regarding scheduling of service repair work.
• Monitor technician activity and ensure customer commitments are met; communicate status changes clearly.
• Review completed jobs and verify inventory and costs for jobs during closure.
• Maintain inspection documentation and assist in tracking open items and information gaps.
