Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern to join our team. The intern will support the design department with project tasks, gaining hands-on experience in design and documentation while contributing to real-world projects.

Immigration sponsorship is limited; TN visa eligibility may apply for qualified candidates. Compensation is $22.00-$27.00 per hour, commensurate with education and certifications.

Qualifications

Full-time student currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering Technology.
Experience with preparing clear written materials is preferred.
Coursework or prior internship in fire protection is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers with basic design tasks and documentation.
Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, and construction phases.
Support site visits, RFI responses, and review of shop drawings.
Follow quality control procedures and learn company standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
