Qualifications

• Full-time student currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering Technology.
• Familiarity with design and production software.
• Ability to develop project documents and collaborate with project team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior or lead Fire Protection Engineers with basic design tasks, including research and simple studies.
• Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, design development, and construction phases.
• Assist with construction phase activities, including site visits and RFI responses.
• Follow established quality control procedures and ask questions as needed.
• Learn and apply department and company standards and best practices.
• Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members.
• Receive guidance and direction from supervisors and team leaders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other multidisciplinary team members.
