Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific seeks journey-level Fire Protection Engineers to join our team and contribute to critical military infrastructure projects for the Navy and Marine Corps. You will work on MILCON facilities, demolition, space utilization, and development of protective systems.

You will perform design analyses, hydraulic calculations, fire modeling, and egress analyses, collaborating with architects and multi-discipline teams on DB and DBB projects, with QA/QC and site visits to ensure life safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in fire protection design and life-safety systems preferred.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform design analyses and calculations for fire protection projects across military facilities.
• Prepare drawings, cost analyses, RFPs, and project specifications.
• Use industry-standard software for hydraulic calculations, fire modeling, and egress analysis.
• Coordinate with architects and engineering teams on DB and DBB projects; conduct QA/QC and site visits.
