Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific is seeking experienced Fire Protection Engineers to join our team in Hawaii. You will develop and review fire protection designs, perform calculations, and support MILCON and other critical facilities for the Navy and supported commands.

As a Fire Protection Engineer you will collaborate with architects and multi-disciplinary teams on DB/DBB projects, conduct site visits, and ensure life safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance
• U.S. citizen 18+ at time of hire
• Selective Service compliance (males)
• Background check and fingerprinting

Responsibilities

• Perform design analysis and calculations for fire protection projects
• Prepare drawings, cost analyses, RFPs, and project specifications
• Collaborate with architects and multi-discipline teams on DB/DBB projects
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and site visits for life safety systems
