Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Fire Protection Engineering experience in A&E industry.
• Ability to maintain a Security Clearance is required.
• Experience in Fire Dynamics, Egress Modeling, and Risk Analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fire alarm and mass notification system design.
• Prepare design drawings, specifications, and other necessary documents.
• Review contractor submittal packages and provide construction phase support.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)

Fire Protection Engineering License - FPE

Knowledge of International Building Code (IBC)

Experience with HASS and/or hydraulic calculation software

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection or related degree
