Qualifications
5-10 years of Fire Protection Engineering experience in A&E industry.
Ability to maintain a Security Clearance is required.
Experience in Fire Dynamics, Egress Modeling, and Risk Analysis is preferred.
Responsibilities
Fire alarm and mass notification system design.
Prepare design drawings, specifications, and other necessary documents.
Review contractor submittal packages and provide construction phase support.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
Fire Protection Engineering License - FPE
Knowledge of International Building Code (IBC)
Experience with HASS and/or hydraulic calculation software
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection or related degree
