Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to lead design, analysis, and testing of fire protection systems for commercial and government facilities. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare documents and budgets, and ensure code compliance.

Requirements include a PE license, 5+ years’ experience (DoD preferred), ABET-accredited degree, and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD. The firm offers ESOP, bonus plans, and a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• PE license required; QFPE preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience; DoD project experience preferred.
• ABET-accredited degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, and testing/commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Oversee code analysis and life safety compliance for projects.
• Prepare construction documents and assist with proposals and budgeting.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
