Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to provide fire protection and life-safety engineering services for USACE facilities and infrastructure projects. The position is on-site, with the location to be determined.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering and strong knowledge of NFPA codes. Preferred qualifications include USACE experience, PE license, and federal or military facility experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.

Responsabilités

• Design and review fire suppression and life-safety systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and system evaluations.
• Review fire alarm and sprinkler coordination.
• Conduct code reviews and hazard assessments.
• Review submittals and shop drawings.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and acceptance.
