Society of Fire Protection Engineers seeks a seasoned Fire Protection Engineer in Denver to lead design, code compliance, and client engagements across diverse projects.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. or M.S. in fire protection engineering with 4+ years (up to 10) in the field and a professional license. Remote or hybrid work is possible with experience, enabling a balance between site visits and office work.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in fire protection engineering or related field
• 4+ years in the field; 4 years in fire protection; up to 10 years total
• Professional licensure in fire protection engineering
• Experience in code consulting using common model codes
• Experience designing fire suppression and fire alarm systems
• Client-facing experience including project coordination and communications

Responsabilidades

• Prepare reports communicating safety and compliance to clients.
• Talk with clients on the phone to reassure them about fire and life safety matters.
• Develop drawings for projects and communicate designs clearly.
• Collaborate with clients in meetings and listen to their needs.
• Perform calculations for code compliance and system design.
• Conduct site visits and document findings.
• Review others' drawings and integrate designs.
• Travel to project sites across the country.
• Attend industry meetings and networking events.
• Participate in ongoing training and team activities.
