Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric seeks an experienced fire protection engineer in Denver to lead safety assessments and design reviews. You will work with clients, prepare technical reports, and develop fire protection drawings for complex projects.

The role requires a BS/MS in fire protection engineering with 6–10 years of experience, licensure, and strong communication skills. Remote or hybrid work is possible depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in fire protection engineering or related field.
• 4+ years experience in fire protection consulting; 6–10 years total in the field.
• Professional licensure in fire protection engineering.
• At least 2 years of code consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports communicating safety and compliance to clients.
• Communicate with clients by phone to discuss fire and life safety issues.
• Develop drawings and review submissions as needed.
• Collaborate with clients in meetings to understand needs.
