Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern to support a design team on fire protection and life-safety projects. You will assist with hydraulics calculations, REVIT/AutoCAD layouts, field surveys, and technical report writing under close supervision.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited college/university.
Incoming Junior/Senior year or grad student status.
Completion of fire protection courses is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with building and fire code research and design analyses.
Support hydraulic calculations and layout of fire protection systems in REVIT or AutoCAD.
Prepare design drawings, specifications, and technical reports under supervision.
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on project deliverables.
Perform field surveys and witness testing as needed.
