Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a Project Manager based in Totowa, New Jersey. The successful candidate will lead moderately complex projects with responsibilities including managing local project offices and ensuring timely project delivery.

The role requires a minimum of five years of project management experience and knowledge in the security industry. A comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $113,000, is available from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of project management experience.
• Preferred experience in the security industry or new construction.
• Higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Associate’s) or equivalent work experience.
• Availability for daily travel and some overnight travel (25%+).
• Preferred certifications: CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager) or PMI PMP within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

Lead moderately complex projects assigned a medium to high corporate priority. Deliver subject‑matter expertise in project management, including:

• Establishing and managing local project offices.
• Defining project scope, risk, methodology, prioritization, and facilitation.
• Maintaining control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Presenting project updates to management and customers.
• Managing vendor relationships throughout installation.
• Ensuring projects are closed on time and within scope.

Methodology and Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of PMI methodology and knowledge areas: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, and Procurement.
• Effective communication and status reporting to project staff, customers, and Johnson Controls management.
• Leadership of project resources, duty assignment, and scope of authority.
• Financial accountability: tracking expenditures, forecasting trends, and integrating Johnson Controls accounting methodology using AIA standards.
• Quality assurance: conducting inspections to ensure workmanship meets installation quality standards.
• Customer service: providing professional support and timely follow‑up on all customer concerns.
