Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a Field Project Manager for their Fire division in Mobile, Alabama. In this role, you will lead complex installation projects in various facilities including healthcare and military.

Responsibilities include defining project scope, managing resources, and ensuring timely project completion. The position offers a competitive salary range of $68,000-$93,000 along with benefits such as paid vacation and comprehensive health care from day one.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ installation experience in Fire, Electrical, or Security systems.
• Expect to obtain Project Management Professional certification within two years.
• NICET Level II must be obtained within one year.

What you will do

As a Field Project Manager for our Fire division, you will lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Setup local project offices and define project scope.
• Identify risks, establish project methodology, allocate resources, and facilitate execution.
• Manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations.
• Present project updates to management and/or customers.
• Ensure projects are closed on time and in scope.

How you will do it

• Coordinate and communicate project progression from inception to completion (design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, field installation).
• Develop comprehensive project plans to meet schedules and budgets.
• Conduct Work in Progress meetings.
• Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
• Ensure AHJ requirements and departmental/SOX procedures are followed.
• Coordinate change orders and work toward margin improvement on every job.

What we look for

• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic, or Security is preferred.
• Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (preferred).
• 5 years’ installation experience in Fire, Electrical, or Security systems.
• Expectation to obtain Project Management Professional certification within two years.
• NICET LevelII must be obtained within one year.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Project). Ability to create Excel spreadsheets, reference data in other spreadsheets, and create macros is required.
• Available for frequent local travel.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $68,000-93,000 (subject to education, experience, and market data). A competitive bonus plan will be provided based on individual, group, and corporate performance.
