Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Project Manager for our Fire division in the United States. You will lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects across commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities include establishing local project offices, defining scope, managing schedules and costs, ensuring safety and quality, and delivering projects on time and within scope. Travel to local sites will be frequent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cert in Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic, or Security preferred.
• PM certification within two years of employment.
• NICET Level II within one year of employment.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to create/reference Excel data and macros.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects.
• Set up local project offices and define project scope and risks.
• Manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Present updates to management and customers; ensure on-time, in-scope closures.
