Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee fire and life safety system projects from planning through commissioning in Jacksonville, FL. The PM collaborates with sales, installation, and clients to ensure sound design, seamless installation, and professional commissioning of projects.

The role requires 2–5 years of PM experience in construction, strong knowledge of code requirements, and a customer‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of project management experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of applicable code requirements.
• Customer-centric approach with leadership and team management.
• Ability to estimate and propose change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment within schedule and budget.
• Ensure projects stay on budget, identify overruns, and implement mitigations.
• Assist in estimate development and understand contract requirements before start date.
• Maintain open communication with customers, contractors, and partners for project completion.
• Review design drawings for compliance with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with finance to review billings and obtain customer approval.
