Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead fire and life safety system projects, ensuring design integrity, safe installation, and professional commissioning. You will manage field operations, collaborate with sales and clients, and safeguard schedule adherence and budget targets.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to read plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of project management experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of applicable building and safety codes.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices.
• NICET certification is a plus during evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment to meet schedules and budgets.
• Maintain project budget, identify overruns, and implement mitigating actions.
• Assist in estimate development and clarify scope before start date.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, and partners to ensure completion.
• Review designs for conformance to regulations and standards.
• Update manpower planning and collaborating with finance on billings.
• Provide monthly cost-to-complete updates and track job costs.
• Participate in pre-bid reviews and project turnover meetings.
