Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Houston seeks a Fire Life Safety Sales Executive to prospect and develop new customers, upsell services, and negotiate pricing for inspection contracts. ISRs will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Service Manager and Service Operations Staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

This position is a key part of our Service Department Team. The role requires 3–5 years in sales or fire protection, strong communication in English, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years sales or fire protection industry experience.
• 2 years reading electronic blueprints, and experience with SalesForce.
• 2 years operating a computer, Microsoft Office, required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively make sales calls to new prospective customers to build the inspection and service business.
• Pro-actively engage current customers to upsell services.
• Maintain a pipeline of activity to meet sales goals.
• Record customer and prospect information in CRM with detail.
• Follow up on pending proposals to accelerate awards and progress opportunities.
• Understand pricing approach and contractual terms for ITM agreements.
