Henderson Engineers is seeking a Fire Engineering Manager for our Community/Health sector. You will lead a team of engineers and designers, mentor staff, and coordinate cross-disciplinary design efforts while upholding high technical and quality standards.

The role emphasizes developing staff through mentoring, performing complex design and calculations, and ensuring project success from concept through completion in a collaborative culture.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred; GED accepted.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred; additional certifications encouraged.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu; strong drafting and design skills.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities with a collaborative mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers within the Fire discipline.
• Act as hiring manager and provide performance feedback and career guidance.
• Coordinate staff assignments with project scope and timelines; monitor progress.
• Coach individuals through regular meetings and goal setting.
• Develop and enforce design standards, guidelines, and quality controls.
