Gwinnett County is seeking a community risk reduction liaison to engage with community organizations, business groups, and residents. The role involves delivering fire safety presentations using prepared lesson plans, materials, and AV aids, while helping enhance existing programs and services.
The incumbent will conduct home safety surveys, car seat verifications, and installations, and perform smoke/CO alarm checks and installations.
Serves as departmental risk reduction liaison to community organizations, business groups, the media and other agencies. Prepares and delivers a variety of fire safety presentations using lesson plans, program presentations, audio and visual teaching aides/props and resources.
The grade for this position is B21(2).
