Gwinnett County is seeking a Trades Manager to oversee daily operations of the division, manage budgets, plan long-range maintenance, and help develop policies and procedures.
The role requires supervising staff, conducting evaluations, maintaining records, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safe facilities while managing equipment installation and supplies.
The Trades Manager is responsible for overseeing applicable budgets, possessing a full working knowledge of operations, and typically reports to a Division Director.
The incumbent oversees the daily operations of the section, including long range planning, coordinating repairs, assisting with the division budget, conducting inspections to determine problems and needed repairs for equipment; and assisting in determining policies and procedures for the division.
The grade for this position is C43(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
