Summit Fire & Security in Bend, OR seeks a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems with minimal supervision.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, NICET preferred, plus 2 years in the Fire Life Safety industry and computer skills. The role requires traveling up to 90% locally and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET certification preferred
• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience in Fire Alarm required
• 2 years professional computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Use tools and test equipment to repair or replace components.
• Follow safety programs and complete documentation on work orders.
• Communicate with customers and offsite monitoring companies professionally.
• Travel 90% locally as required.
