Job Title:

Fire Alarm System Inspector

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

As a fire alarm system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations in your territory. We have positions for licensed Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspectors. Your duties include inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NFPA standards, repairing systems as needed, and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We seek dependable, self-starting individuals with a positive attitude to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Schedule fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections
  2. Conduct tests and inspections on systems
  3. Coordinate with local fire departments to ensure smooth testing processes
  4. Repair systems or notify the Service Department of issues
  5. Communicate inspection results to customers
  6. Maintain excellent communication with your Area Coordinator
  7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Position Details
  • Full-time, 40+ hours weekly
  • Meet service calls efficiently
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and support customers
  • Use maps and Google Maps for scheduling
Customer Service Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls and manage customer interactions
  • Keep detailed documentation of service calls
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Apple iPad
  • Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and be flexible
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder
  • Electrical/low voltage certification or construction background is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Travel required, remote work
