Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a fire alarm & suppression level II technician in the United States. The role covers installation, inspection, testing, programming, and service of fire alarm and engineered/suppressed systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and safety rules.

You will train customers and document all work, while maintaining strong client relations and safety practices. The ideal candidate has experience in fire protection, NICET II certification, a valid driver’s license, and

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience including alarm and detection, notification, sprinkler monitoring, and interfaces for agent releasing suppression systems
Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages
Proficiency with basic computer functions and industry-specific devices and software
Knowledge of low voltage wiring; ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Valid U.S. driver’s license

Responsibilities

Perform installation, inspection and testing of fire alarm and suppression systems per NFPA codes and standards
Program, test, inspect, create as‑built drawings, and train customers for installations; troubleshoot and service systems
Document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations
Maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with internal teams for follow-up and quotes
Keep vehicle and equipment stocked and in good condition
Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services
Adhere to safety program; handle on-site and off-site emergency troubleshooting
Communicate deficiencies and resolutions with customers
Be prepared for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Work at heights and in confined spaces as required
