Job summary

CertaSite is hiring a Fire Alarm & Suppression Level II technician in Dayton, OH. You will perform installation, inspection, testing, programming, and service of fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards.

The role requires climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional night/weekend work. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fire detection and signaling, a NICET II certification, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire detection and signaling systems experience.
• 12 months of fire alarm systems experience including alarm and detection, and controls for suppression systems.
• Basic math and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand wiring diagrams.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, and testing of fire alarm and suppression systems per NFPA standards.
• Program, test, and provide final inspections and customer training for installations.
• Troubleshoot and service fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers and relay information for follow-up.
