Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a Fire Alarm & Suppression Level II professional to inspect, install, test, service and repair fire alarm and suppression systems. You will ensure NFPA compliance and customer satisfaction, while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fire protection, NICET II certification, and a valid US driver's license, with willingness to work varying shifts and locations across the Columbus area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience including alarm and suppression interfaces.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams and to use basic computer applications.
• Valid US driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection and testing of fire alarm and suppression systems per NFPA standards.
• Program, test, finalize as-built drawings and train customers for installations.
• Troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Document inspections, repairs and recommendations; maintain customer relations.
• Maintain vehicle, tools and inventory; ensure safety practices are followed.
