We are hiring a fire alarm & suppression level II technician who can perform installations, inspections, testing, service, and repairs of alarm and suppression systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and standards. Occasional nights, weekends, travel, and safety-first work culture are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fire detection and signaling experience including alarm systems.
• Ability to calculate basic math (fractions, decimals, percentages).
• Proficient with basic computer functions and industry software.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring and reading blueprints.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and test fire alarm and suppression systems per NFPA standards.
• Program, test, final inspections, as-built drawings, and customer training.
• Document inspections and recommendations electronically or on paper.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and coordinate with team.
• Keep vehicle and tools stocked and maintained.
• Evaluate customer site for additional equipment or services.
• Adhere to safety program.
• Provide on-site or remote emergency troubleshooting.
• Discuss deficiencies with customers and resolutions.
• Possible night/weekend/holiday work; discuss with manager.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces.
