Ahern is seeking a Special Hazards/Fire Alarm Construction Superintendent to lead field crews across Davenport, IA; Des Moines, IA; Omaha, NE; St. Louis, MO; and Minneapolis, MN.

You will schedule installations, oversee safety audits, and ensure on-site quality and profitability on small to mid-sized projects. • Clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Midwest.
• Strong leadership and electrical/mechanical background.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site safety audits to protect employees and the worksite.
• Inspect, test, and install small to mid-sized projects.
• Monitor progress and outcomes; problem-solve to maintain quality, safety, and profitability.
• Manage employees, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Coach and develop staff; terminate as needed.
