J. F. Ahern in Omaha, NE is seeking a Special Hazards/Fire Alarm Service Superintendent to lead field technicians, manage equipment and material procurement, and schedule inspections and project installations.

You will conduct on-site safety audits, monitor progress, troubleshoot, and ensure quality, safety, and profitability across small to mid-sized jobs. Candidates should have a high school diploma and fire alarm industry experience, plus a clean driving record and ability to travel

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Construction or service experience in Special Hazards/Fire Alarm.
Clean driving record with ability to travel locally.
Ability to lead, direct others and work in a fast-paced service environment.
Strong mechanical background and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Lead field technicians, equipment, and material procurement.
Schedule inspections and small to mid-sized project installations.
Perform on-site safety audits to protect workers and sites.
Inspect, test, and install small to mid-sized projects.
Monitor progress, report outcomes, and adjust as needed for quality, safety, and profitability.
Recruit, hire, and conduct performance reviews; coach, mentor, train and terminate staff.
