Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician to service retail locations across the United States.

You will install, troubleshoot and repair cabling and equipment for IP Video, Access Control, Intrusion alarms, LAN/WAN, and wireless LAN, with daytime shifts and some night work. The role requires field installation experience, NICET certification preferred, valid security licenses, and strong customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm /Intrusion / Access Control.
• NICET certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid state license in Life Safety or Physical Security where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment in IP Video, Access Control / Intrusion Alarm / LAN/WAN.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings and drill/ conduit work as needed.
• Ensure systems meet contractual requirements and safety codes; perform tests for operability.
