Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is hiring a Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician to service retail locations across the United States. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling and equipment for IP Video, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, and LAN/WAN networks.

Ideal candidates bring field installation experience, NFPA knowledge, and strong customer communication. Some overnight travel is required; orientation in Lowell, Arkansas precedes a company vehicle provision.

Qualifications

• Field installation experience in security environments (Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control).
• NICET certification or Life Safety license preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70/72 standards and electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints/site maps and interpret plans.
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair IP Video, Access Control, Intrusion, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling, drill concrete walls, and perform limited conduit work.
• Ensure systems comply with codes and contractual requirements; test operations.
• Provide on-site and remote technical escalation support as needed.
• Collaborate with team leads to meet schedules and deliver equipment.
