Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced low voltage technician to install, program, troubleshoot, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. You will interpret blueprints, configure panels, and support after-hours service on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of documented experience with Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, CCTV and Security Systems.
Ability to read blueprints, submittals and manuals.
Physically capable to lift 50–70 lbs and perform demanding work.
Willing to travel overnight and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

Install, program, troubleshoot and service Fire Alarm and Security systems at customer sites.
Read blueprints and specifications; supervise installations to meet specs.
Participate in after-hours service program as required.
Communicate status, update dispatch, and complete documentation promptly.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
