Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks a skilled installer/technician to set up and service fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. You will read blueprints, program panels, and troubleshoot networked security systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires capable physical work, after-hours calls, and a commitment to quality service. Training is provided; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in low voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety, CCTV and Access Control.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug test; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and program fire alarm, security, and access control panels and systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and service at customer sites; respond to service calls.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specifications; coordinate with dispatch.
• Complete and submit task-related documentation accurately and promptly.
• Be willing to participate in after-hours service program as needed.
