Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for security and life-safety systems installation and service roles. You will install, program, troubleshoot, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems at customer sites, with emphasis on networked fire alarm systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant 2-year degree or NICET II, with experience reading blueprints and working with low-voltage equipment. Company offers extensive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year Associates Degree in Electronics/Network/CS or related field.
• NICET II or ability to obtain within first year.
• Experience with Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control and CCTV Systems at customer sites.
• Perform panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolve low voltage troubles and system testing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and manuals.
• Coordinate with team to ensure tasks meet customer and contract specs.
