Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Fire Alarm Sales Representative to cover Eastern Michigan. You will develop business with electrical contractors, engineers, and end users, pursue bid/spec opportunities, and drive engineered fire alarm projects to closure. This field-based role rewards strong territory growth and relationship skills.

You will read plans and specs, perform takeoffs, and prepare compelling proposals while selling systems, service agreements, and related life-safety solutions. Expect a robust

Qualifications

• Commercial fire alarm or closely related low-voltage sales experience.
• Ability to read plans, specs and perform takeoffs.
• Knowledge of NFPA life-safety codes.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a large sales territory independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with contractors, engineers, consultants, and end users in Eastern Michigan.
• Identify bid/spec opportunities and pursue engineered fire alarm projects.
• Review drawings and project specifications.
• Perform takeoffs and develop proposals for engineered systems.
• Sell new systems, upgrades, service agreements, and life-safety solutions.
• Provide technical support during bidding and project execution.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Represent the company at meetings and industry events.
