Job summary

Regional Fire Protection in Williamsport, MD is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Sales Estimator to join our growing team. You will grow the customer base, prepare quotes, and collaborate with vendors and managers to deliver competitive proposals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in fire alarm estimating or related roles, strong NFPA/NEC knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and estimating software. This full-time role offers base pay plus commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years in fire alarm industry as technician, salesperson, or estimator.
• Familiar with NFPA and NEC codes; ability to read and apply.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and estimating software.
• Ability to create basic fire alarm layouts and perform material take-offs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; self-starter with judgement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a team or independently; constructor site mobility.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base by following up on leads and strengthening relationships.
• Capture discrepancy work from inspection reports and provide quotes.
• Provide contract cost after first-pass design including materials and fees.
• Work with vendors to secure best pricing.
• Establish timelines for complex contracts with customers.
