VSC Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Service Technician in Austin, TX. The role delivers safe, efficient service on integrated systems, resolving issues and communicating solutions to customers.

You will install, test, and repair fire alarm, security, and related systems, while following plans and safety standards. Qualifications include 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience servicing fire alarm or security or related systems.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Able to pass various background checks.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair fire alarm, security, camera, access control, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and false alarms.
• Program systems and test for proper operation.
• Coordinate with clients and provide recommendations for repair.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams for installation.
• Attend to on-call duties as required.
