Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience servicing fire alarm, security, camera, or access control systems.
• Ability to read plans, documents, meters, and discern colors for safety signage.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair security, camera, access control, suppression, and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and false alarms; program multiple system types.
• Consult with clients on issues and recommend repairs; read blueprints to plan installations.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and inspect batteries and wiring; perform adjustments as needed.
• Ensure NEC and NFPA compliance and demonstrate system operation to end users.
• Be on call as required and provide remote troubleshooting as needed.
