Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site Fire & Life Safety Technician in Greenville, SC. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic fire alarm and related building systems at customer sites, following manuals and safety guidelines.

Excellent customer service and accurate documentation are essential. Preferred candidates have 2+ years in low voltage systems, blueprints literacy, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Capable of physical labor and climbing to 40 feet when required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and diagnose equipment problems at customer sites.
• Repair and service fire alarm systems and related building products.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service and document activities.
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in on-call rotation.
• Provide quotes and recommended solutions to improve facility efficiency.
