Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire Detection Service Technician 1 to service electronic fire alarm systems and related building controls at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The role involves reading blueprints and manuals, using technical devices, and maintaining professional communication with customers and district staff. A valid driver’s license and safety-conscious mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound and communications systems is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Must demonstrate strong customer service skills and effective communication.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fire alarm and related building systems at customer sites.
• Receive service calls and contact customer representatives to determine issues.
