As a Fire/Life Safety Service Technician, you will ensure the safety and efficiency of our systems by maintaining and repairing fire alarm and sprinkler systems in accordance with all standards. You will also mentor entry-level technicians, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, inspections, and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems, generating detailed reports.
• Respond promptly to troubleshoot and repair system issues.
• Ensure compliance with code and safety standards.
• Quote repairs and assist with large project estimations.
• Maintain and inspect water-based fire safety systems, documenting deficiencies and following reporting protocols.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage tools, equipment, and vehicle stock responsibly.
• Mentor junior technicians and support team growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with fire alarm or sprinkler systems.
• Technician endorsement for sprinkler system maintenance.
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months preferred.
• Ability to work in various environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Northern NJ and NYC.
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education or certifications such as NICET II, S-98 Certificate of Fitness for NYC, or extensive experience in fire/life safety systems.
