Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Alarm and Life Safety Project Manager to deliver reliable fire alarm and life-safety solutions for corporate clients across multiple facilities, guiding projects from design through installation, testing, and turnover.

You will manage the technical execution of concurrent projects, coordinating with internal teams, electrical contractors, inspectors, and customers to ensure scope, materials, and code compliance are met on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to obtain NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level 1 certification within 12 to 18 months.
• Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites in different states.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, inspect, and program fire alarm systems and related life-safety equipment.
• Coordinate with internal teams, electrical contractors, inspectors, and customers to keep projects on schedule.
• Interface with AHJ for permits, approvals, and inspections.
• Lead project reviews to maintain quality, schedule, and standards compliance.
• Prepare test reports and turnover documentation.
