Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide on-site maintenance, inspections and preventative services for client fire and security systems. The role emphasizes accurate testing, paperwork, and clear communication with clients and the monitoring station.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks. Training and certifications may be provided to support ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have mathematical skills including calculations of interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure proper installation and inspection of systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify system devices function per manufacturers' specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and the Central Monitoring Station.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
