Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking an on-site Fire Alarm Inspector to perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client alarm systems. The role requires ensuring all devices operate correctly and according to manufacturer specs, with thorough documentation submitted daily.

The position calls for traveling to client sites, meeting state licensing requirements, and maintaining the integrity and safety standards that Per Mar upholds.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry as per state rules.
• High School Graduate or GED is required for Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Must be able to travel, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance services on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly and per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
