Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide on-site maintenance, inspections and preventative services for fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience, with benefits and a company vehicle/options.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain required licenses and pass background checks. Travel may be required, and strong math and code knowledge are essential for safe, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain required licenses/certifications for fire/security work.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills and understanding of basic algebra/geometry.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for proper installation and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify function of system components per manufacturer specs.
• Submit daily paperwork to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and Central Monitoring Station.
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor.
