Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide on-site maintenance, inspections and preventative services for client fire and security systems. You will verify operation, complete required paperwork and communicate with clients and our Central Monitoring Station to ensure reliable protection.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel, and knowledge of fire and electrical codes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Licenses/certifications must be obtained to perform work in the security industry per state rules.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel willingness.
• Strong mathematical skills including basic algebra/geometry.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all devices function per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Central Monitoring Station.
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
