Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking an on-site Fire Alarm Inspector to conduct inspections and maintenance on client fire and security systems. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and state licenses/certifications as required.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong math skills, and the willingness to travel. Training and field experience are provided to assist you in achieving goals within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain required licenses/certifications for security industry per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required for all positions.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Mathematical skills including figures, percentages, area, and basic algebra/geometry.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify system components (panels, alarms, sirens, strobes) per manufacturer specs.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the proper department daily.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
