Chime Financial, Inc. is seeking engineers to join the Membership team. You will own end-to-end projects—from shaping architecture and designing APIs to building polished front-end experiences and maintaining health across the stack.

The role emphasizes designing scalable features for membership benefits, rewards, and engagement, with a strong bias toward experimentation and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years developing software in production at scale.
• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (React, React Native, or TypeScript-based frameworks).
• A product mindset with bias toward experimentation and impact.
• Collaborative spirit with strong communication across teams.
• Experience with transactional databases and API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and scale features across backend services and front-end surfaces for membership benefits and engagement.
• Build and iterate on APIs and UI components for the member experience in Chime's mobile app.
• Partner with product, design, data science, and other stakeholders to understand needs, define experiments, and ship solutions.
