Chime is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for Unsecured Cards in San Francisco, CA. You will own end‑to‑end features, spanning backend APIs (Ruby on Rails) and frontend apps (React/React Native), and scale systems powering millions of members.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, risk, credit, legal, and compliance to deliver high‑impact experiences. Expect on‑call rotations and a competitive compensation package based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production‑grade software experience with user‑facing features.
• Experience owning projects or major features end‑to‑end.
• Backend APIs and services in Ruby on Rails; modern frontend know‑how.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end‑to‑end development of complex product features from design to launch.
• Lead multi‑engineer efforts, define scope, and drive execution.
• Design and build scalable systems across backend services and frontend apps.
• Work through ambiguity to define solutions aligned with product goals.
• Collaborate with product, design, risk, legal, and compliance to deliver features.
• Contribute to architecture decisions balancing performance and maintainability.
• Raise engineering quality through code reviews and testing practices.
• Mentor engineers to improve velocity and code quality.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.
