Job summary

Lead Bank in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Senior Loan Operations Support to manage the set-up, maintenance, and processing of commercial loans. You will analyze requests for completeness and accuracy of supporting documents, ensuring the file is complete and compliant.

In this role you will coordinate appraisals, escrow, and loan draws, activate loans in the core system, and support clients in person or by phone. A fintech background and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in reconcilement or balancing.
• 5 years of experience in loan servicing/support.
• Knowledge of LaserPro, nCino or similar document prep/core system.
• Maintain confidentiality of data and information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-obsessed mentality with fintech passion.
• Strong attention to detail and product management mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-project handling ability.
• Self-starter, proactive and ready to roll up your sleeves.

Responsibilities

• Order appraisals and title commitments.
• Communicate with borrowers for insurance info and disclosures.
• Activate new loans in the core system.
• Assist clients in person or by phone.
• Process construction and commercial loan draw requests.
• Review daily reports and address items.
• Follow up for recorded documents and title policies.
• Appraisal management and annual appraiser reviews.
• Escrow management: setup, analysis, payments, updates.
• Handle adverse action letters and monitoring.
• Process bankruptcies, levies and disputes.
• Review and update loan covenants.
• Process daily mail and paid loan processes.
• Maintain physical loan files.
• Balance daily loan general ledger.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
